Pascal Descollonges | Non-Elected Officials

President Trump left much of the federal bureaucracy in disarray, leaving office with more than 170 positions requiring Senate confirmation unfilled. His lack of support for federal agencies—including refusing to participate in Obama-designed training programs, appointing cabinet officials whose express intent was to tear down the agencies they ran, and repeatedly slashing funding for a variety of crucial programs—jeopardized the important work they do, from securing our nuclear stockpile to providing SNAP benefits. All of these women have served in the public sector as bureaucrats, acting in non-military, non-elected roles, and if elected will help to restore our government to a fully-functioning state.
