WomenCount is making political giving more personal.
And we want to make political participation simple and fun—all with the goal to elect more women.
We think there are better ways to get individuals involved in politics. Instead of being solicited over and over by candidates, campaigns, and organizations, we are putting the “ask” in the hands of personal networks. We think we can have more impact by mobilizing donors at all levels and deploying our personal networks to support slates of progressive women candidates for state and local offices, Congress and the presidency.
Our crowdfunding platform was created to tap into the astonishing success of peer to peer fundraising—and put it to work on behalf of electing more women.
WomenCount is a non-profit progressive political organization that gives women of all generations and backgrounds from around the United States a powerful voice in the political process. Our organization has three arms: a 527 that launches issue-related campaigns, a 501(c)4 that conducts political advocacy, and a PAC that raises and donates funds to candidates for office.
Our main project is WomenCount.org, a crowdfunding platform that enables donors to give to slates of women running at the national and local level.
