Sen. Baldwin has so far avoided a serious Republican challenger. Rep. Mike Gallagher was seen to be her most formidable potential opponent, but he has ruled out a run. So has Rep. Tom Tiffany. We’re still watching two self-funders, venture capitalist Eric Hovde and former staffing company CEO Scott Mayer, as well former Lt. Rebecca Kleefisch, who could make this a competitive race.
