Welcome to 2024. It’s about to get real.
The first presidential primaries are this month, and the first Congressional primaries—on Super Tuesday, March 5—are only 60 days away. All of this against the backdrop of the anniversary of the Jan. 6 insurrection drives home that we need to get serious about winning, fast.
That’s why we wanted to get our 2024 Super Tuesday slate back in front of you, and ask if you could help us get it to $2,024 to start the year? (We’re currently at $900.)
It still includes six House candidates in the most-competitive primary elections:
- CA-22 (Toss Up): State Sen. Melissa Hurtado
- CA-45 (Lean R): Garden Grove City Councilor Kim Nguyen
- CA-47 (Lean D): Attorney Joanna Weiss
- CA-16 (Safe D): Palo Alto City Councilor Julie Lythcott-Haims
- CA-30 (Safe D): State Rep. Laura Friedman
- TX-32 (Safe D): State Rep. Julie Johnson
Plus, we’re adding Reps. Barbara Lee and Katie Porter, who are counting on last-minute enthusiasm to propel at least one of them into the top-two finish, as Republican Steve Garvey surges and threatens to knock them out.
