Our partners at Elect Black Women PAC just released their final round of endorsements for 2024!
And with less than eight weeks until Election Day, they need our help ASAP. We’ve seen an explosion of fundraising support for the first Black woman to lead a major party presidential ticket. Now, we need to make sure that support trickles down-ballot.
- Angela Alsobrooks, MD-US Senate: This was supposed to be a safe Senate seat, but polls are currently tied, and Republican Larry Hogan is outspending her 8-1.
- Quantá Crews, AZ-House-26: Quantá was appointed last year to fill a vacant Democratic seat. Now she needs to win it in her own right.
- Haley Morrissette, FL-House-2: Social worker and organizer Haley is challenging an incumbent Republican to flip this competitive seat.
- Diamond Staton-Williams, NC-House-73: Incumbent state Rep. Diamond is barely hanging on in this district she flipped last cycle to prevent a GOP supermajority.
- Kenya Wicks, GA-Senate-34: Kenya is running to maintain Democratic control of this competitive open seat.
- Denise Mitchell, Gwinnett County, GA Tax Commissioner: Denise is the incumbent. She was appointed in 2023 and is running for her first full term.
- Shayla Favor, Franklin County, OH Prosecutor: Shayla currently sits on the Columbus City Council and is running as a police reformer for this competitive, open office.
Let’s make sure these women have the cash they need to compete and win now, increasing Black women’s representation and filling the pipeline for statewide and national races.
This partnership, now in its second cycle, is so important to WomenCount’s mission of closing the gender giving gap by connecting Democratic donors with as many Democratic women candidates as possible.
