2026 Senate
We’re getting a first look at Q3 fundraising numbers for 2026 Senate races, and one big finding stands out:
One man raised 4x what women in other competitive races raised combined.
Right now, the most competitive open, Democrat-held seat is Michigan. The most competitive incumbent Democratic seat is Georgia. Here’s what the Q3 fundraising looks like for those races.
- Sen. Jon Ossoff (GA): $12 million
- State Sen. Mallory McMorrow (MI): $1.65 million
- Rep. Haley Stevens (MI): $1.9 million
This is giving us flashbacks to last cycle, when male Senate Democrats outraised the women 3:1, or even more, throughout the election. This disparity appears to be getting worse—and now, with Gov. Janet Mills entering the US Senate race in Maine, it’s more important than ever to reverse this trend.
These reports are a rallying call to support women early in their races, even when they have competitive primaries! Lack of early funding fundamentally weakens the eventual primary winner once she moves forward into a competitive general.
And remember: In races with multiple women in a primary, you may customize your donation, or give to both, since we want qualified, viable women candidates to be competitively funded. Most importantly, do not wait!
