Our Elect Black Women PAC slate has *almost* made it to $50k And with final primaries for the women on this slate coming up as early as next week, we’re hoping to make it all the way this weekend.

Can you chip in $30 or more right now to Elect Black Women PAC and the five final candidates on the slate?

Candidates with primaries Tuesday, August 23:

  • Michele Rayner, FL State House, 62: In 2020, Michelle became the first openly queer Black member of the Florida legislature. This is a safe-D district, but Michelle is in a three-person primary that includes the seat’s former representative.
  • Melissa Myers, FL State House, 40: This is a safe-D seat, so the winner of the primary is likely to win the general election. This would be a pickup for Black women. Melissa is a professional recruiter and community health activist.

Candidates with primaries Tuesday, September 6:

  • Andrea Campbell, MA Attorney General: Andrea has been endorsed by Massachusetts’ likely next governor, current AG Maura Healey. She’s facing two others in the primary. Andrea is a former member of the Boston City Council.
  • Vivian Birchall, MA State House, Middlesex 14: This is a safe-D seat and would be a pickup for Black women (the incumbent is a White woman). Vivian, a public servant and nonprofit board member, is facing Simon Cataldo, a lawyer at former US Attorney John Ashcroft’s law firm.

Candidates in the general election:

  • Odessa Kelly, US House, TN-7: This is one of three likely-R districts Tennessee Republicans created during redistricting to shut Democrats out of a Nashville seat. It’ll be tough to win but we want to make sure she’s fully funded.

Thanks for helping us and Elect Black Women PAC fill the political pipeline by chipping in $30 or more now!
