Presidential speculation for 2020 is in full swing, and we couldn’t miss the chance to get in on it.

There are four women senators who could announce as early as January 2019: Kirsten Gillibrand (NY), Kamala Harris (CA), Elizabeth Warren (MA), and Amy Klobuchar (MN).

WomenCount is committed to supporting all of them with the power of crowdfunding if they do run, because we want all of the women running for president to be competitive in the early months of the campaign.

Chip in $5 or more to Kirsten Gillibrand, Kamala Harris, Amy Klobuchar and Elizabeth Warren on our Presidential Sneak Peak slate and help us give them a head start.

Of course, 2020 won’t just be about electing our next president. We’ll also need to defend our newly acquired majority in the House and take control of the Senate.

Already it looks like women will compete to challenge the two most vulnerable Senate incumbents: Sara Gideon, the speaker of the Maine House of Representatives, is emerging as an early favorite against Sen. Susan Collins, and Crisanta Duran, who serves as speaker of the Colorado state House, is hinting at running against Sen. Cory Gardner.

And in the House, we’ll need to get a head start on defending freshman members who triumphed against their Republican opponents by 5 points or less this year.

We’ve identified eight of these most vulnerable incumbents on our Close Calls congressional preview slate. Chip in $5 to each of them now.

And we’ll update you soon on our state legislative battleground. For now it looks like we’ll be defending legislative majorities in New Jersey and Washington in 2019—and attempting to flip a handful of seats to take control of the entire Virginia General Assembly!
