The blowout win in Wisconsin last week, Cory Booker’s heroism, and the massive protests over the weekend are giving new momentum to Democratic campaigns, especially this year’s contests in Virginia.
But there are also women gearing up in some of the most competitive 2026 Congressional races—where we are focused on flipping the House and holding open Senate seats.
- Open, US Senate, MN: Peggy Flanagan, the current lieutenant governor
- Open, US Senate, MN: Melisa López Franzen, a former member of the MN Senate
- Open, US Senate, MI: Mallory McMorrow, a current member of the MI Senate
- Challenger, CA-40, Esther Kim Varet, a local entrepreneur and small business owner
- Challenger, NY-17, Cait Conley, a national security professional and US Army veteran
- Challenger, NY-17, Beth Davidson, a county legislator and school board member
- Challenger, WI-3, Rebecca Cooke, a small business owner and nonprofit executive
You’re probably noticing there are multiple women running in two of these races. That’s okay—we want to normalize having multiple qualified women running, and therefore encourage our members to give to each woman running in a competitive primary. However, you can also customize your gift if you would like.
Women candidates are consistently underfunded when they run for office, and our mission is to ensure that viable women are competitive and have the resources they need. Participating early in primaries helps the eventual nominee run a stronger general election campaign.
