Veterans swear an oath to defend the Constitution, and understand firsthand what it means to put country over self. That experience makes their voices invaluable in today’s political world.

That’s why for the week of Veterans Day, we’re spotlighting a new group of female veterans running for House seats in 2026. They’re calling themselves the ‘Hellcats,’ a reference to women Marines who served during World War I.

Think of the Hellcats as the next generation of the 2018 Badass Women’s Caucus.

Please give $20 or more to our new Hellcats slate—four women who are running to flip and hold US House seats next year:

  • Cait Conley, NY-17: A West Point decorated Army veteran who served 16 years with six combat deployments. She later led election security efforts at the White House, CISA and Harvard. This is one of three districts that split the ticket for VP Harris and a Republican member of Congress, Rep. Mike Lawler.
  • JoAnna Mendoza, AZ-6: A single mom, lifelong public servant and retired Marine Corps Drill Instructor who served 20 years, including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Raised in a rural farmworker community in Pinal County, she is best positioned to unseat Republican Rep. Juan Ciscomani.
  • Rebecca Bennett, NJ-7: A former Navy helicopter pilot and Air National Guard officer with over a decade of military service and experience working in healthcare innovation. She is running to flip the seat currently held by Republican Rep. Tom Kean Jr. Democrats had flipped this district in 2018.
  • Maura Sullivan, NH-1: A former Marine Corps Captain who served in Iraq, President Obama’s DoD, and now serves as Vice-Chair of the NH Dem Party. She is running for the seat vacated by Rep. Chris Pappas. Recent polling shows the district as R+1.

These women have served their country in uniform, now they want to serve it as members of Congress. Help them get there—fuel their campaigns by giving $5 to each of them via our Hellcats slate.
