This NY.Times piece gives a good look at why supporting female candidates is still needed today as much as it ever was. Fundraising for women is still a totally different game than it is for men. According to Debbie Walsh, director of the Center for American Women and Politics at Rutgers University, “A man might be able to pick up a phone and raise $1,000 with one phone call. A woman may have to make 10 phone calls in order to raise that same $1,000”
