Voting rights are the foundation every other fight in this country stands on, a foundation under active attack. On April 29, 2026, the Supreme Court’s decision in Louisiana v. Callais weakened Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act, the provision that prohibits any voting rule or procedure that discriminates on the basis of race, color, or language minority status. This slate is dedicated to the Democratic women fighting back: candidates and elected officials defending and expanding voting access, from the governorship to the state legislature.
