As you know, this year is the 10th anniversary of WomenCount’s founding. 

Since 2015, WomenCount and the Electing Women Alliance have been the only efforts in the country working to mobilize communities of women donors as a pathway to electing more women—WomenCount by focusing on grassroots and online giving, and the Electing Women Alliance by focusing on larger-dollar, in-person giving groups. 

Since 2022, both organizations have undertaken this work as one entity, and expanded to include more giving groups, more group support, and seven full-time staff. Across both entities we’ve raised $44 million for women candidates—with $14 million of that coming through the WomenCount platform. 

At the beginning of this year, we started raising into our 10th Anniversary Sustainability Campaign, to fuel this growth for 10 more years. Now, we need to raise the final $100,000 by the end of this year.
