Since our call, the race has tightened, especially down-ballot. Not because of anything any woman did, but because of violent and inappropriate text messages sent by attorney general candidate Del. Jay Jones’ to his colleagues. There’s concern that could have a chilling effect on Democrats up and down the ticket. 

Despite some of the headwinds, these 10 women have been working nonstop to connect with voters and finish with a victory. But they’re not done yet.
