impeachment-starts-now

On Wednesday, 14 women representing House districts that Donald Trump won in 2016 will face a tough impeachment vote.

All except one of them are freshman members, meaning their seats were already going to be vulnerable. Now, with the President’s supporters fired up to defend him—using lies, conspiracy theories, and the threat of foreign interference—the risk that these women will lose their seats next year is unfathomably greater.

Before this Wednesday’s vote, will you show them we have their backs by chipping in $5 or more to our Swing Seats for Impeachment slate?

We’ve retooled the slate slightly so that it’s just the 14 women from Trump-won districts.

Already, seven of these women have very bravely confirmed they will vote to impeach the President: Representatives Angie Craig (MN-2), Susie Lee (NV-3), Elaine Luria (VA-2), Lucy McBath (GA-6), Elissa Slotkin (MI-8), Xochitl Torres Small (NM-2) and Abigail Spanberger (VA-7). Rep. Luria made one of the boldest statements among her swing-seat peers:

“It’s equally important today as it will be six months from now to say that I stood up against the President when he did something wrong.”

That leaves seven other Democrats who need our encouragement before the vote. Chip in $5 or more to them now.
