From abolition to the civil rights movement to our current crisis, moms—especially Black mothers—have made up the backbone of activism in this country.
We saw that again this week when the Wall of Moms came to Portland, a city under siege by federal troops targeting local Black Lives Matter protesters.
And moms aren’t just in the streets—they’re in the halls of Congress too.
A record number of moms serve in the current Congress, and we want to break records again this year. Because moms know what matters most: healthcare, education, and keeping our kids and communities safe. We need them in the halls of power.
