Electing Women Bay Area is a community of like-minded donors who come together in support of Democratic women running for president, US Senate, and governorships. We have giving circles in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, East Bay, and Wine Country.
We have a special introductory membership rate for new or lapsed members — all of the benefits of EWBA for half the cost. It is a $2,500 commitment per year to support women candidates, including a $500 membership fee to the EWBA political action committee (PAC) to support our operations. Members then make four $500 donations directly to candidates over the course of a year.
EWBA hosts 8 to 10 candidate events per year, so members have a choice about who to support. Prior to each event, the EWBA team briefs all members on background of the candidate, overview of the race, and other relevant details. We believe it is critical for members to feel informed about the candidates they consider for support. Our team is also always available for questions.
In addition to our candidate events, EWBA members are invited to monthly national conference calls of the Electing Women Alliance featuring Senate incumbents and candidates as well as experts in the political arena. We also host gatherings from time to time for members of the giving circle to connect informally in other ways.
We need all hands on deck to flip the Senate, hold the House, pick up some key Gubernatorial mansions, and, yes, defeat Donald Trump. We hope you will consider renewing in 2020 and help us reclaim democracy.
